How much does it cost to

build a website?

That’s a bit like the old

question…”how long is a piece of

string or how much does a car

cost?”. There are many variables to

consider including your goals,

needs, wants and what is it that

your trying to achieve. A website

can start from as little as $1000 all

the way up to tens of thousands of

dollars. Why not book a

consultation? A good website

doesn’t have to be expensive.

Can you redo or repair old

sites?

In order to get the best value, it’s

best to start fresh. That way you get

the latest styles, design and

technology. Many things change

over a period of time and you want

something that serves you, is smart

and reliable. If you have an older

site, we may be able to reuse some

of the content if it’s still relevant

and useable, but on a fresh

platform.

How long does it take to

build a website?

Again that will vary depending on

what is required but around four

to eight weeks is a guide for a

typical site. If we have to wait for

content, assets, permissions, sign

offs from the client, etc, then the

turnaround cycle will be longer. A

simple site can be quicker. A

simple one page site can be

quicker, one to two weeks,

depending on workload.

What about email?

Our main focus is in design and

marketing. If you host with us, we

can set up email at your domain.

For large volumes of email, Google

and Microsoft have

business/enterprise grade email

packages that a lot of people use

successfully. It’ll allow you to use

your own domain name that way.

What’s a domain?

A domain name is your online

address like “bestcoffee.com.au”.

You’ll need your own domain

name for your new website.

We’re an authorised domain

reseller for all domains and can

set this up for you.

What’s hosting and how

do I do it?

Web hosting is where your website

will live. It’s like a block of land for

house (website). We have a

hosting service available and can

set this up for you as well. This is

usually billed monthly. Everybody

pays for hosting, even me!

What’s the difference

between website builders

and what you do?

There are many “easy” website

solutions out there. The big

difference is that you do not own

your content and won’t be able to

move it or replicate it elsewhere if

need be. The others start out

cheap but you pay for every add

on and you may still have to pay a

developer to customise it if you

require something unique. With

our traditional website solutions,

you’re have control and have

many options.

Do you outsource your

work overseas?

We’re a genuine Australian

business with an ABN. The work

is not outsourced to third world

countries. It’s all done in house

and chances are you will deal

direct with the owner!
